Aglaonema

Very adaptable plant, tolerates low light and dry air. Keep away from drafts and cold air however. It comes in many marbled varieties. Lower leaves will wilt as the plant grows older.

  • Likes warm and humid air
  • Keep away from cold, drafty, or dry air.

Water and Soil

  • Drought tolerant, water when soil dries
  • Fertilize lightly couple times a year

These plants can tolerate some periods of dryness.

Potting and Pruning

  • no need to prune
  • slow growing, repot every other year or as needed

Aglaonemas are low maintenance plants and should need very little care other than watering.

Propagation

  • Best propagated by division.
  • Young plants will emerge from the soil as the plant grows.

It's easiest to propagate while repotting a large plant.
